Be a Sport
Before your blushing bride tosses your favorite cap or jersey in the garage sale pile, throw ‘em on for a day of sports with the guys.

• The Warm-up—Grab some grub at Brit's Pub, GameWorks or the Hard Rock cafe. From there, you can walk to the Target Center or hop a train to the Metrodome.
• The Big Game—Depending on the season, catch some Twins or Saints baseball, watch the Vikings toss the pigskin around, set a goal to see the Minnesota Wild or sit courtside at a Timberwolves game.
• Post-Game Stretch—Don’t worry about gulping down a few stadium brewskies. Catch a cab and crash at the Four Points by Sheraton or Holiday Inn hotels’ Metrodome locations.
• A Game on the Greens—If indoor sports aren’t your thing, head outside to hit the links at one of several metro golf courses, including Crystal Lake Golf Club, Golden Valley Golf & Country Club, or Rush Creek Golf Club.

• Smooth Scotch—Stop by Kip’s Irish Pub for an amazing array of fine scotch or enjoy some smooth jazz accompanied by aged whiskey at Rossi’s Blue Star Jazz Room.
